Brand Ambassador/Sales Assistant - V& Waterfront

About the Role

As a Brand Ambassador at Carrol Boyes, you will be the face of the brand, engaging with customers, showcasing our beautifully designed functional art, and delivering a premium retail experience.

You will assist customers in selecting products, provide expert product knowledge, and ensure that the store environment reflects the high standards associated with the Carrol Boyes brand.

Brand Ambassadors play an important role in supporting sales performance, maintaining store standards, and ensuring that stock and store assets are safeguarded during trading hours.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience and Sales

• Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects the luxury standards of the Carrol Boyes brand.

• Proactively approach and engage customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.

• Demonstrate strong product knowledge to assist customers with product features, uses, and care.

• Build positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.

• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

• Handle customer queries, exchanges, and service concerns in a professional manner.

Brand Representation

• Represent the Carrol Boyes brand professionally at all times.

• Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance in line with company standards.

• Ensure the store environment reflects the premium image of the brand.

• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and ensure displays remain attractive and organised.

Store Operations

• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented store environment.

• Replenish shelves and ensure that products are properly displayed at all times.

• Assist with visual merchandising in accordance with company guidelines.

• Support store opening and closing procedures where required.

• Assist with promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-store events.

Cash Handling and Transactions

• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.

• Handle cash, card payments, and gift vouchers in accordance with company procedures.

• Perform daily till reconciliations where required.

• Follow all company processes relating to sales transactions and financial controls.

Qualifications and Experience

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred

• Experience in a customer-facing environment advantageous
