Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergency medical conditions

• Stabilise and treat critically ill and injured patients

• Perform emergency procedures and interventions within scope of practice

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

• Ensure accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred emergency care

• Adhere to HPCSA and facility clinical governance standards

Minimum Requirements

• MBChB or equivalent medical qualification

• Valid and active HPCSA registration

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications

• Professional Indemnity Insurance

• Proven experience in Emergency Medicine

• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills

• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
