Exxaro Resources is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our Grootegeluk Coal team in Lephalale, Limpopo. In this permanent role, you will lead contractor construction supervisors and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project execution meets safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets. Your key responsibilities include managing contractor appointments, enforcing strict safety and environmental standards, conducting inspections and audits, and providing timely progress updates. We are looking for a strong leader committed to operational excellence and sustainable mining practices. Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma in Engineering (Essential/Minimum requirement)
- Relevant Trade Artisan Qualification with MQA/QCTO Accreditation (Essential/Minimum)
- Certificate in First Line Management (Essential/Minimum)
- Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in a relevant field (Recommended/Desirable)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant construction and commercial exposure, preferably in a project size similar to the business unit's scope (Essential/Minimum requirement)
- Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage contractor construction supervisors and multi-disciplinary teams effectively
- Strong understanding and commitment to safety, health, environment, and community (SHEC) policies and procedures
- Demonstrated capability in project execution, risk management, and compliance with legal and procedural requirements within a construction environment
