Power Platform Development (Low Code / Pro Code)
- Design, build, and maintain Power Apps (Canvas & Model Driven) to digitise business processes and workflows.
- Develop Power Automate flows for process automation, system integration, approvals and notifications. Configure and extend SharePoint Online for document management, lists, metadata, permissions and integration with Power Platform solutions.
- Apply Power Platform ALM practices including environment separation (Dev / Test / Prod), solution packaging and deployment, versioning and change control.
- Design secure solutions using Dataverse, role based access control (RBAC), and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) integration. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, supportable solutions.
- Design and implement endtoend data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory (Pipelines), Lakehouse / Warehouse, and Spark / Dataflows Gen2 where applicable.
- Ingest, transform, and curate data from SAP (ECC / S/4), line of business systems, SharePoint / M365, and external data sources.
- Build and maintain semantic models and curated data products aligned to business domains.
- Implement data quality, validation and reconciliation controls.
- Support Power BI integration through wellstructured Fabric Lakehouse/Warehouse models.
- Ensure solutions align to data governance standards, security and access control requirements, and performance and scalability expectations.
- Adhere to enterprise development standards, architecture principles and security policies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements such as POPIA and internal data handling policies.
- Apply best practices for logging and monitoring, error handling, and documentation (technical and functional).
- Participate in solution reviews, operational handovers and production support where required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Power Platform and Fabric standards, templates and patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience working in enterprise, regulated or manufacturing environments.
